On May 13 and 14, 2026, at the initiative of the Sughd Regional Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a series of talks and meetings were held to enhance anti-corruption awareness among public servants. The events took place in the Executive Authority of State Power of the city of Istiklol, the Sughd Regional Department of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Secondary General Education School No. 20, and City Gymnasium No. 13 in Khujand.

During the events, representatives of the Agency delivered presentations on the existence of corruption cases and ways to combat this phenomenon, measures to prevent corruption among employees in various sectors, the consequences of bribery, as well as the damage and negative aspects of this phenomenon. They cited specific examples from investigative practice. Participants were also provided with detailed information on the requirements of the legislation and state anti-corruption programs.

Overall, the events were conducted in an anti-corruption spirit, and it can be confidently stated that their results will have a positive impact on fostering an uncompromising attitude toward corruption and raising the legal awareness of employees in the mentioned sectors.
