On September 17, 2025, a meeting took place at the central office of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Agency's Director, Sulaimon Said Sultonov, and the Permanent Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Tajikistan, Mr. Ghazi Shbaikhat.

During the meeting, the Director of the Agency welcomed Mr. Shbaikhat’s first visit to the institution and wished him success in fulfilling his official duties. The parties then engaged in a productive dialogue on issues of combating corruption within the framework of the "Policy Coordination Enhancement Program," exchanging views and considerations regarding the process of asset declaration by public officials in the Republic of Tajikistan.

Continuing the discussion, Mr. Shbaikhat expressed satisfaction with the policies pursued by the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of anti-corruption and commended the Agency's achievements in this area. The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in combating corruption and addressing other important issues.

Overall, the meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will create favorable conditions for expanding the Agency's activities in implementing the country's anti-corruption policy.
