On June 4–5, 2026, an official visit by a delegation of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan to Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, took place under the leadership of the Deputy Director of the Agency — Talbakzoda Sulaimon Talbak.

It should be noted that this visit was conducted as part of the Plan of Activities for the Implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Agency and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025–2026. The purpose of the visit was to exchange experience in detecting and preliminarily investigating economic and corruption-related crimes, to familiarize with the work of the law enforcement agencies of the neighboring country, and to further expand international cooperation.

During the visit, Agency staff familiarized themselves with the activities of the Department, the State Financial Control Inspectorate, and the Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan. They studied the processes of prevention, detection, and preliminary investigation of economic and corruption crimes, the conduct of financial inspections, and the professional development of public servants in these institutions.

Overall, the event was held at a high level, and it can be confidently stated that its results will positively contribute to strengthening ties between the two agencies, promoting the anti-corruption achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan on the international stage, and adopting best practices in the field.
