On May 6, 2026, within "Youth Month" and in accordance with the "Action plan for the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Department for combating economic crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of combating economic and corruption crimes for 2025–2026," a scientific-practical conference was held in a virtual format at the Agency's central office. The theme of the conference was "Legal foundations of anti-corruption policy and corruption counteraction practices."

The conference was attended by staff members of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Department for combating economic crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as faculty and students from higher education institutions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. During the event, the parties exchanged expertise on the legal frameworks of the two countries' anti-corruption policies and their implementation, corruption counteraction and prevention measures, and discussed other topical issues.

The event was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding. Participants expressed confidence that the conference would establish a solid foundation for the further strengthening of ties between law enforcement agencies and academic institutions of the two countries.
