On June 3, 2026, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a training seminar on combating corruption was held in the Executive Authority of State Power of Sughd Region. The event was attended by a wide range of representatives from state bodies, chairpersons of public commissions for corruption prevention under local executive authorities, representatives of territorial subdivisions of ministries and departments of the region, and other responsible officials.

It should be noted that the purpose of the seminar was to present the Action Plan for the Implementation of the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030, specifically at its second stage (2026–2030). During the seminar, a representative of the Agency provided a detailed explanation of the content and essence of the strategic planning documents in the field of anti-corruption, and also clarified the mechanisms for their implementation to the participants.

At the end of the event, responsible officials of the Executive Authority of State Power of Sughd Region emphasized the importance of the discussed issue. They noted that holding such training seminars not only raises the level of anti-corruption awareness among employees, but also contributes to the formation of an atmosphere of intolerance towards corruption and creates a favorable basis for the implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Government of the country.
