From 18 to 22 may 2026 in the city of Vienna, Republic of Austria, the 17th Session of the Implementation Review Group of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the 17th Session of the Intergovernmental Working Group on the Prevention of Corruption were held. The official delegation of the Agency, headed by the Deputy Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan — Kamolzoda Firuz Anvarali, took part in these sessions.

The events were organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Within their framework, issues of the comprehensive implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption, the exchange of successful practices in this field, as well as effective ways to prevent corruption based on the provisions of the said Convention were discussed.

Overall, the sessions of the above-mentioned working groups took place in a scientific and discussion-oriented atmosphere. It is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained during participation in these events will be used by the Agency’s employees in their official duties to reduce the level of corruption in the country.
