On May 19, 2026, the first meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the implementation of the Action Plan for the execution of the State Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 in the second phase (2026–2030) was held in the building of the central apparatus of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by heads and responsible officials of the country's ministries and departments.

The event reviewed issues related to the status of implementation of strategic planning documents in the field of anti-corruption, existing problems, as well as ways to improve the coordination of the activities of state bodies.

It should be noted that the main task of the working group is to expand coordination and establish strong interdepartmental relations in the field of implementation of the state program, analyze the actual status of implementation of the clauses of the Strategy's Action Plan, eliminate statistical discrepancies, prevent shortcomings, as well as identify and eliminate the causes and conditions that negatively affect the process of ensuring an effective anti-corruption policy of the Government of the country.

Overall, the event was held at a high level, and its results are expected to have a positive impact on the full implementation of state anti-corruption programs and, accordingly, on reducing the level of corruption in the country.
