On August 21, 2026, on the initiative of the leadership of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cities and districts of the Bokhtar region, a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the hall of the Bokhtar State University named after Nosir Khusrav. The event brought together leaders and staff of law enforcement agencies of the Khatlon region, representatives of state bodies, organizations, and regional activists.

During the conference, the theme "35 Years of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan: State Legal Policy in Crime Prevention and Strengthening the Rule of Law" was thoroughly examined. Keynote speakers addressed pressing issues such as "essential means of preventing corruption offenses," "supervision of law enforcement," "preventing youth involvement in extremist organizations," "prevention of juvenile delinquency," "combating smuggling," and "drug abuse prevention."

The main objective of the scientific and practical event was to draw public attention to crime prevention, enhance the legal awareness of citizens, and foster collective resistance against corruption and modern threats. The outcomes of the conference contributed to strengthening effective cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public, expanding awareness-raising efforts, and recognizing active participants for their valuable contributions to upholding the rule of law.
