From 28 to 30 April 2026, at the initiative of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, a round table was held in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, in which a delegation of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan took part.

The event was organized within the framework of the Cooperation Program between the Agency and the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation. During the round table, issues such as the use of modern digital technologies in combating corruption, the fight against money laundering of criminal proceeds, the return of corruption assets, preliminary investigation of such crimes, as well as other pressing issues were discussed. As a result, the participants exchanged views on the topics under consideration.

It should be noted that the purpose of holding such events is, first and foremost, to discuss issues of combating corruption, countering transnational crime, exchanging best practices, and developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
